JADON’S AUTOBIOGRaphy

My name is Karl Jadon Alexis G. Roa, and I was born on August 14, 2005 in Cebu City, Philippines. Growing up, I was a quiet and shy kid who often kept to myself. Being silent led me into a lot of awkward situations, but it also made me very observant. I learned a lot just by watching and figuring things out on my own instead of asking. I was especially fascinated by toy cars, and my favorite was a yellow Bumblebee figure that I carried around and played with constantly. Looking back, I realize those small moments shaped how I see and learn from the world around me.

Now, I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering, which has proven to be one of the biggest challenges of my life so far. I’m not the fastest thinker, and I wouldn’t call myself the smartest either. I think slow, but far—and that has its own advantages. Engineering pushes me every day to grow and adapt, just as I’ve always had to in life. Sometimes it feels overwhelming, but I see it as part of my journey and something that will help me become a stronger person in the long run.

Looking ahead, I have big dreams, even if some I joke about it sometimes. I joke that I want to be the President of the Philippines someday, but in truth, what I really want is to make an impact, to leave something meaningful behind. Studying engineering is just one step toward becoming the kind of person who can create change in the world. My life so far has been about adjusting, surviving, and pushing forward, and I know these lessons will guide me wherever I go next.
