Jay Marbee Aaron Tabsing was born on December 13, 2003 in Buenavista, Tubungan, Iloilo. Growing up, I spent my early years in the farm, raising cattles and planting crops for living. I was raised by Marilyn Tabsing and Benedicto Tabsing( Mar and Be) along with 6 siblings.
During my early education at Buenavista Elementary School, I showed interest in basketball, Mathematics and Athletics. This passion would later influence my path in life. I was a shy boy, hesitant to initiate simple conversation, because I was a farm boy, I don’t have really time to hangout with friends. I studied my secondary education in Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, where I began transforming my life, a life away from my family. There I was able to learn being independent on my decisions, choices and actions. It was a hard and arduous journey but thankfully I succeeded, yet again here I am repeating the process, but as a college student.

At first, I was having difficulty in finding scholarship and I always short of my allowances. There was a time I only have a meal a day, and even cause me ulcer and Gastroesophageal Reflux disease . I can’t even submit my assignment and outputs because I lack money to buy the materials. I thought of dropping out but I am eager to finished my study and thankfully someone referred this scholarship program to me. Now, I don’t have any problems with my meals because I can eat 3 meals a day now, and I can buy materials for my projects and assignments, a big thanks to the foundation. Overall, I am grateful not only because of financial assistance but the family I found here. I feel included, I feel valued and cared for, I will always be grateful that KFF has chosen me to be one of its beneficiaries. Many battles were lost and many times falling down but for me everything is a win, when the goal is to experience and to be here is bigger than winning. Thank you!
