KFF is more than just a symbol or a logo. Its meaning has been proven and lived out by its
graduates and alumni, many of whom continue to testify to the truthfulness of its promise. They
often say, “KFF is one of the reasons my life has changed. It helped me achieve my dreams and
not only support my family, but also give back to my community.”
At the heart of this vision is KFF’s founder, Mr. Kennerhoff. Despite the differences in
language, culture, and race, he carried within him the spirit of being Filipino at heart. He believed
in the power of driven individuals to transform society, and he knew he could extend help not only
as a founder but as someone who believed in these individuals. His dream was not only to improve
the lives of scholars but also to plant seeds of change that would ripple across communities,
creating a better society and a brighter future for all.
And just like its founder, the emblem of KFF also carries a deeper story. The dragon in the
KFF logo carries profound meaning as well. While dragons are often seen as fierce and perilous
creatures, they also embody great strength and the power to bring about transformation. In the
story of KFF, the dragon is not meant to be conquered, but to be tamed. It reminds us that the
challenges we face in life are not enemies to be destroyed but parts of ourselves to be understood,
embraced, and guided. Its dragon fire may often understand as destructive, however, in Feng Shui,
it represents wealth, good fortune, and the ability to resolve negative energy. While the scholars
represent as the dragonrider capable of managing the dragons as unison of the self. Wolves play
an important role of the logo as it symbolizes bravery, honesty, and truthfulness to one’s promises.
They are usually known for its teamwork because they work and fight for each other as a pack.
This representation mirrors the qualities that the KFF obtained, often carrying this professionalism
applied towards the scholars and the organization. This led the viewer to the Key symbol which is
confusing at first, Key is actually the combination of the organization’s name “KFF”, K is the
horizontal stage where wolves sit into while the two F’s deflecting each other forming the bottom
part of the key, creating an artwork of letters.
Furthermore, the brownish inner color according to psychology, represent as dependability,
reliability and approachability reflecting the organization’s nature. Having served for more than
two decades, KFF has supported and nurtured hundreds of grantees who have gone on to graduate
and pursue meaningful lives. Finally, the outer layer of the logo formed as the shield, conveying
protection, defense, strength, and security. Just as the organization continues to grow, the logo
serves as a timeless reminder of KFF’s mission: to empower scholars, nurture dreams, and uphold
the values that will carry the foundation forward for generations to come.
