“Success in preparation is preparation for success.”

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the scholars gathered for another thought-provoking chapter from Turn Everything into Money. The chapter started with a big question. Why do people struggle to earn money?

The book shared three main reasons why people find it hard to earn money. First, because we focus too much on making money without knowing how to use it wisely. Second, because some people have the wrong attitude—like spending too much or not thinking before buying. And third, because we simply don’t understand the real process of building wealth like we chase money without building something that lasts.
In addition, the night would not be memorable without the story of Bruno and Pablo, which is all about working hard versus working smart. Bruno carried buckets of water every day, using all his time and energy just to earn a living. Meanwhile, Pablo spent time building a pipeline. In the end, Pablo’s effort paid off—he earned more with less work, while Bruno continued to work harder for the same result. The lesson from this story is clear: It’s okay to invest in something long-term, as long as you plan it well and understand the risks.

This chapter reminded us that money is not just about working hard—it’s about preparing, thinking smart, and having the right attitude. Like the quote says, preparation is the key to success.
A heartfelt thank you to all the scholars who joined and shared their valuable insights. Your dedication to growth continues to inspire!
